Garmin Forerunner 265 review: Probably the best running smartwatch for many people!
Smartwatches Blogs - best luxury smartwatches | WatchBuddy
The Garmin Forerunner series is one of the most popular lines of running watches on the market. The Garmin Forerunner 265 and 265S are the latest additions to the series, and on paper, they don’t look like much of an update. Both watches have the same design and feature set as the previous model, the Forerunner 245. So what’s new with the Forerunner 265 and 265S?
The biggest update with the Forerunner 265 and 265S is the addition of built-in GPS. Previously, the Forerunner 245 relied on your phone’s GPS signal to track your runs. With the built-in GPS, the Forerunner 265 and 265S can track your runs without your phone. This is a great feature for those who want to leave their phone at home or in the car when they go for a run.
The company’s latest attempt at a true smartwatch, and it’s a pretty impressive piece of hardware. It’s got a large, vibrant AMOLED touchscreen that’s far superior to the one found on the previous generation Forerunner. It also has built-in GPS and enough storage for 500 songs. And like all Garmin watches, it’s extremely well-built and rugged.
Basic things about GARMIN FORERUNNER 265
The Garmin Forerunner 265 and smaller 265S, alongside its sibling the Garmin Forerunner 965, are the latest iterations of the formidable Forerunner running watch series. As such, they come with a slew of improvements and new features, while still retaining the same great design and performance that runners have come to expect from Garmin.
We weren’t sure whether the 265 would do enough differently to earn its place on our best Garmin watches list. It’s not a bad watch by any means – it’s just that other watches in the company’s lineup offer more features for a similar price.
After spending some time with the 265, we’ve come to appreciate its simplicity. It’s a well-made watch with a clean design, and it does everything you’d expect a fitness tracker to do. If you’re looking for a no-frills fitness tracker that won’t break the bank, the 265 is worth considering.
Battery and Display on GARMIN FORERUNNER 265
The GARMIN FORERUNNER 265 is a great fitness watch, and one of its best features is the AMOLED touchscreen. The touchscreen is bright and responsive, and it doesn’t impact the watch’s battery life too badly.
Garmin’s newest smartwatch features a gorgeous AMOLED touchscreen display that is on par with any other smartwatch on the market. The colors are vibrant and the clarity is superb. The only downside is that the battery life is not as good as some of the other options out there. But overall, this is a terrific smartwatch and it is definitely worth considering if you are in the market for a new one.
The watch does have some other great features, including a built-in heart rate monitor, GPS, and support for a variety of different fitness apps. However, the touchscreen is definitely one of the best things about the GARMIN FORERUNNER 265 series.
While this watch may not have the “unlimited” battery life that its name suggests, it still has a much better battery life than any of Apple’s best smartwatches.
GARMIN FORERUNNER 265 is better than the Apple series?
While the Garmin watches may not have the “unlimited” battery life that its name suggests, it still has a much better battery life than any of Apple’s best smartwatches. The Forerunner 265 series can last up to 14 days on a single charge, while the Apple Watch Series 5 lasts only 18 hours.

GARMIN FORERUNNER 265: DESIGN
The new Garmin 265 and 265S smartwatches are slightly bigger than their predecessors, the 255 and 255S models. The 265 has a case size of 46.1mm, while the 265S has a case size of 42mm. Both watches have the same display size of 1.2 inches.
The increased size of the 265 and 265S models is due to the new sensors that have been added to the watches. These new sensors include an optical heart rate sensor, a barometric altimeter, and a pulse oximeter. The addition of these sensors allows the watches to track more health data than ever before.
Despite the slightly larger size, the Garmin 265 and 265S are still very comfortable to wear. The watches come with adjustable straps that can be customized to fit any wrist size.
GARMIN FORERUNNER 265: PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The Garmin Forerunner 265 and 265S are both priced the same despite their size differences. The Forerunner 265 is the larger of the two watches, while the 265S is the smaller watch. Both watches have the same features, but the size difference is noticeable. The Forerunner 265 is best suited for people with larger wrists, while the 265S is best suited for people with smaller wrists.
